Chronic fatigue.
Tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. We look at the patterns underneath, not just the symptom.
When rest isn't enough.
Chronic fatigue is more than simply feeling tired. Many people continue to struggle despite being told their routine bloodwork is "normal."
Fatigue rarely has a single cause. We take the time to investigate common contributors, including thyroid health, nutrient status, hormones, digestion, sleep, stress, and other underlying factors, to better understand what's driving your symptoms.
How patients describe it.
- Waking up unrefreshed even after 8+ hours
- Energy crash in the afternoon
- Reliance on caffeine to function
- Brain fog accompanying the fatigue
- Symptoms worse around your cycle
- Slower recovery from exercise or stress
When someone tells me they're exhausted all the time, I don't stop at 'your labs look normal.' I start asking why. Dr. Abbie Siudzinski, ND
How we work through it.
We start with a 90-minute first visit to map your full pattern. When did fatigue start. What makes it worse. What has been tried.
From there, we run testing that targets the most likely drivers. Comprehensive thyroid, salivary cortisol, iron and ferritin, B vitamins, vitamin D, and often a hormone panel.
Once we know what's driving it, the plan is targeted. Most patients see meaningful change in 4-8 weeks once the right pieces are addressed.
Tests we typically use here.
The specific panels depend on your situation. These are the most common ones for chronic fatigue.
- 01Comprehensive thyroid panel (including antibodies)
- 02Salivary cortisol
- 03Complete Iron panel
- 04Vitamin D and B12
- 05Comprehensive bloodwork
- 06DUTCH hormone panel
