Advanced Allergy Therapeutics is a drug-free, non-invasive technique to treat symptoms relating to allergies and sensitivities. It does not involve needles, medication, or elimination diets.
Sessions are calm and brief. Most patients see Dr. Abbie for a series of short, targeted appointments based on the AAT assessment findings.
What it is not
AAT does not involve immunotherapy drops, at-home remedies, or allergy injections. There are no supplement protocols or medications used with treatment.
AAT does not assess or treat anaphylactic allergy responses. It does not replace an epinephrine auto-injector for life-threatening allergies.
AAT does not diagnose any medical conditions, including allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances. AAT does not test for allergies or sensitivities. Instead, it simply assesses what may be causing a stress to the body.

How sessions work.
The first conversation is a free 15-minute call to make sure AAT is appropriate for your situation. From there, an in-person initial assessment maps what items need to be treated. Treatment sessions are short with fast-acting results.

How soon will I see results?
Symptoms associated with a single substance are often improved or relieved after about 24 hours. Many concerns respond within the first few treatments, though every case varies and some may not respond.
How many AAT treatments are required?
It depends on the allergen families involved. Most of the time a single allergen family responds within a single visit, though it may take multiple visits per family. Chronic concerns typically need between 5 and 12 treatments.
Is there an age restriction for AAT treatments?
No. All ages may be treated, including infants.
Can AAT help with seasonal allergy symptoms?
Yes. Seasonal symptoms vary by pollen type (trees in spring, grasses in summer, weeds in fall) and can include runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, congestion, headaches, fatigue, and coughing.
Can AAT help with asthma symptoms?
AAT can address many irritants that contribute to asthmatic symptoms, particularly allergy-induced asthma. Exercise-induced asthma is less likely to respond.
Can AAT help with eczema or skin symptoms?
Yes, particularly when symptoms arise from allergies and sensitivities. Responsive concerns include urticaria, eczema, contact dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis, though severe cases may show only partial improvement.
Can AAT treat anaphylactic symptoms?
No. We do not treat conditions involving anaphylactic reactions, though patients may be treated for other non-life-threatening sensitivities.
