A strong foundation for lasting wellness.
The mission and the beliefs behind Foundations Natural Health, and why the name matters.
Why we do this.
At Foundations Natural Health, our mission is to help patients build a strong foundation for lasting wellness by addressing root causes and supporting the body's God-given ability to heal.
Built on solid ground.
Foundations Natural Health takes its name from Jesus' parable about building on solid ground in Matthew 7. A house built on rock withstands the storms; a house built on sand does not. We believe the same is true of health. Lasting wellness is built on strong foundations: quality sleep, balanced nutrition, stress management, movement, and spiritual wellness, rather than quick fixes that do not hold up over time.
Build your house on the rock
"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."
Matthew 7:24-27 (ESV)
Caring for the whole person.
At Foundations Natural Health, we care deeply about your physical health, but we also believe healing extends beyond the physical. You can pursue every treatment, optimize every lab, and feel your best in your body, yet still be missing the deeper restoration your soul was created for. As Jesus asks in Mark 8:36, "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
As a clinic dedicated to finding the root causes of disease, we believe the Gospel speaks to the deepest root cause of all: sin. While naturopathic medicine works to support the body's ability to heal, only Jesus Christ offers the lasting hope, restoration, and reconciliation that no treatment plan can provide. As Scripture reminds us, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24)
Our goal is not to replace medical care with faith, or faith with medical care, but to acknowledge both. We are committed to providing excellent, compassionate healthcare while pointing to the ultimate source of hope found in Jesus Christ.
That conviction shapes how we practice, but it is never a requirement for care. Patients of every background and belief are welcome here, and every person will be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
